We are all a work in progress and so is our website. Currently CFWC is meeting at a temporary location until our new facility is completed in Grand Prairie. We look forward to meeting you soon, so check back with us often as information and ministry will be added on a regular basis. When you arrive at Calvary, you will find a warm welcome, smiling faces and joy. Come as you are, we are relaxed around here. The music is upbeat contemporary mixed with a little old-school. The Word of God is ministered uncompromised with salvation as the center and living a spirit-filled life.

Weekend Review

July 13th

Teen Camp 2025 is now in the memory books- but oh, what a memory! The Spirit of God moved so powerfully upon our young people, during the high-energy praise & worship sessions all the way through to heart-changing prayer time at the end of the services. What a beautiful thing to behold, wall to wall teenagers, laying face first at the feet of Jesus in worship and adoration. They got a bit of a reprieve from the usual mind-numbing Texas Summer heat this year, it was a tad bit “cooler”. Non-stop games and fun and laughter, and world class burgers and other culinary delights filled

the other hours of their days.

PCG East TX Summer Camp rocks!!!

Intermediate ages are already in full swing in Corsicana, camping this week till Thursday…followed by a fun time with the “littles”, who will be camping from Thursday to Saturday.

Mission 12:12 Fellowship tried something new on Saturday: The Chicken & Pickle... It wasn't bad, but was a little too loud and busy LOL.

Next month, we're gonna take a little trip to Mayberry...stay tuned

John 8:44-45 was the passage that Pastor took his text from this Sunday, in the message entitled “Combatting Lies”.

It’s often been said that Satan’s battlefield is the mind- which it IS. Sin begins as a thought. It is the warfare tactic of the devil to cause us to hang on to that thought…and then, to meditate on it, giving an open invitation to entertaining imaginations, which grow like unchecked weeds until they produce a harvest of sin…this is the devil’s purpose. 1 John 3:7-8 warns us that Satan often uses people as his mouthpiece. Like kids often learn the habits and actions of their parents, so do the children of the devil- they are all too eager to sow discord and destruction with lies their father sent them with. This message that God gave Pastor Cheek is vital for the child of God’s survival. Listen, and learn how to successfully combat lies!
